Aliya is currently working on a SAG-AFTRA film shooting in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania this winter! With director Scott Danzig (Sneaky Ghost Films), who won first place at the 2023 KinoDrome film festival in their Long Shorts category.

With Aliyas creative endevours she was recently commissioned to do the illustrations for a childrens book released this October! With post production in full swing Aliya recently finished filming the psychological thriller Conjunction. It follows a girl going in and out of reality, searching for a way back to her family and friends.


This summer Aliya had the opportunity to Assistant Direct alongside Abbey O’Brien on a production of Cabaret. This production was put up in Steamboat Springs CO at the oldest performing arts camp in the United States Perry-Mansfield.


One of Aliyas published literary works is a part of the 2020 edition of the Ralph Munn Creative Writing Anthology. Her poem All Unknown won first place that year, and stands to this day as an impactful piece of art. Aliya successfully took on the lead role of Scully in The Shortest of Stories directed by the lovely Jennifer Springel. It was an award winning short film that was featured in multiple film festivals, most recently in the Pittsburgh Film Office’s “Pitchburg-the Screening” and on WQED’s Directors Corner.


Aliyas most recent feature film premiered September 2019. She appeared as Agent Molly Pitcher in the feature Kecksburg, based on the UFO conspiracies of 1965, which can be watched on Amazon Prime Video!
