About

Aliya is an actor/performer/creator based out of Dayton Ohio and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She has spent over 13 years studying and performing with theatrical industry professionals from the United States and Canada. She will soon be a graduate of Wright State University in the Spring of 2024! She will graduate with a BFA in Acting with an Independent Pedagogy study in Ballet and Jazz.

Aliya is currently working on a SAG-AFTRA film shooting in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania this winter! With director Scott Danzig, who won first place at the 2023 KinoDrome film festival in their Long Shorts category.

Aliya’s next project is Hello Dolly at The Carnegie in Covington Kentucky. She will be taking on the role of Minnie Fay Fridays-Sundays February 2nd through the 18th!

Aliya is a passionate actor but is a creator above all else. She loves to read books and write anything from poetry to novels. You can check out links to her published works on the NEWS page. Since she was little she had always enjoyed drawing and has now taken on that medium in a professional form as well. Recently illustrating a children’s book all about acceptance and chosen family. She also has been able to explore directing with accomplished mentors such as: Abbey O’Brien (Global Associate Director of Waitress the Musical, & recent Resident Director of Moulin Rouge & Jagged Little Pill.), and Greg Hellems (Head of Musical Theatre at WSU. Director/Choreographer/Writer for Kings Entertainment Company, Carnival Cruise Lines, Legoland UK, and Paramount Parks Inc.)

Overall she just wants to create meaningful and impactful art. It is what brings her joy, and she hopes that you can join her on this journey!
